Default Evap purge valve delete

Having an issue where if i have the purge valve connected via the two post electrical connector the car bogs down under acceleration and runs really lumpy. If i have the valve disconnected it runs fine. So im thinking to plug the tube where in connects to the manifold under the ICV, and have the other end of the hose, where it conects under the purge valve vent to atmosphere. Or is it bad at all to just leave it disconected?

Modification complete. But even with the large hose disconnected and pluged, if i connect the harness to the purge valve the car runs terrible. So im leaving it disconnected.

On a side note, looks like ti.org is becoming more of a diary where i just talk to myself and alot less like a forum where members communicate to help one another. Yet another reason why im getting sick of my ti. Gunna be switching back to audi.
