Default 1995 Hellrot on Ebay

The “buy it now price” is high but it includes free delivery any where in the US and some kind of warranty on the car. The ad says the Car-Fax is clean but I haven’t seen a stock, red air dam before but maybe they just painted it and it wasn’t damaged. Any way it says it is a Florida car.

active possible sport...someone confirm this I forgot the rules for the 1995 models...so much was mix and matched from various trims

The Sport interior(Seats) and No Fogs I would say Active Trim..but I'm not sure.

I can say it's not a 95 Base, nor a 95 Club Sport.

it's a auto too. The paint is nice for a 95 though.

It doesn’t have fog lights but the pull switch on the dash is there. Unless it is a “dummy”

???

I think it maybe a sport and they deleted the fog lights. That air dam didn't come that color and I have a hard time believing it wasn't replaced

Despite being listed as a manual twice, it's an auto. Also, the little orange dot illuminated under the word "miles" on the odometer display signifies that the odometer's mileage has been tampered with. I wouldn't touch this thing if the seller was giving it away!

I wrote the seller about the Orange light. I am just curious what they have to say? I might be wrong but I didn’t like that there was no explanation about the air dam being red either, especially due to the assertion of a clean Car-Fax.

I think the car looks good inside and out for a 1995 but there seems to be a lack of complete openness from the seller and I am curious if it was intentional.

However regardless of the real mileage, I think any car over a 100k should have the complete suspension replaced and as long as the chassis is straight and there is no cancer I think it would make a good car but for 2500 -3000.

Here is the sellers response:

Hello,

We have never heard of anything like that but will look into it, and I can safely tell you that we DO NOT tamper with any odometers, and we received the car the way you see it!!

Sincerely, Nick

Engine looks clean. But thats really the only the good thing that I can see. I wouldnt get even remotely close to this thing. Who ever buys this is going to get screwed big time.

Looks just like the air dam on my 95, mine matches the skirt gray, Looks like an active based on comparing it to my car, actives did come with color matched and non color matched skirts according to my local dealer.... I would bet someone curbed the stock spoiler and had it color matched when they repaired it. Then didn't want to pay the 400 bucks the dealer likely wanted for a foglight kit installed. You get the red OD light if you swap the cluster or the ecu and don't have the dealer match them.

I kind of agree with the seller based on limited data that if you won the auction for say 3K its a nice little car. I wouldn't pay 5+ for an Auto...

Looking at the description I see a lot of BMW illiterate ad boilerplate, I suspect its from an auction and the dealer has no clue....
