Heck, I'll buy the whole car if the price is right. If you do get a ti and plan on doing the swap, there's a couple really good threads that could help you. I'll post the links in a sec. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 01-25-2008, 03:36 AM | #4 | doesn't care about you. I will buy the swap book from J!m and read through it. I might sell or part the car out if decide to just get the 135i instead. The car has 46k on the odometer and is/was in a super clean condition with tastefull mods. | | | 01-25-2008, 08:05 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 890 | Trust us and do the swap. There is alot of good information in J!ms book, although the arguement could be made that you wouldn't need it if you had a wrecked M3 there for parts. I'll consider selling the car if I get a decent offer. Here are some details about the car: - 1997 M3 Coupe Arctic Silver - 46K miles - Dinan Stage 2 Chip - K&N Cold Air Intake - Supersprint Headers, Midpipe (no-cat) & Rear Muffler. - Bilstsein PSS9 - BMP Front & Rear Strut Braces. - Powerflex Polyurethane on just about everything suspension parts. - Brand new Falken RT-615's 225/45-17 F & 255/40-17 R - M Motorsport Light Weight Wheels. - Euro Projector Headlights w/HID 6000k. - White corner markers, tailights etc.. - Many more tastefull upgrades that I don't remember right now. The damage isn't too bad. The car can still be repaired but the insurance company totaled it. I am buying the car back and will probably have it repaired or use the parts for a swap unless someone make a good offer on the car. | | | 01-28-2008, 04:27 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | if your looking for a Ti im selling mine and your not too far from me http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20685 __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 01-28-2008, 05:58 AM | #12 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Is the car drivable or will it need to be towed? Seriously, I'll drive the car without a door or hood if I have to, just to get it home. PM me a ballpark estimate of what you're looking to get for it. I'm looking at another one with similar mileage that's local for 4500, but the guy might not wait for me to sell my ClubSport. Anyway, LMK if it's drivable and throw me a PM. BTW, I'll have cash in a week or two. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 01-30-2008, 07:23 AM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 8 | This car is drivable. I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on your offer of $4500. I paid almost that much for the exhaust system alone. | | | 01-30-2008, 08:02 AM | #14 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by ThipN This car is drivable. I just wanted a ballpark number to see what you were trying to get for yours. I wouldn't even know what to offer without seeing pics first. It sounds like you have a lot of $$$ invested into it. You should post some pics. Best of luck on your sale or swap. BTW, I'm considering selling my ClubSport. If you're interested, make me an offer. If you decide to part it out, I'd be interested in the motor, tranny and accessories needed to do an engine swap. I might even consider a trade for those items plus cash. Does a catless exhaust system really cost $4500? __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 01-31-2008, 08:28 AM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 8 | cooljess76, I am not sure if I want to sell, use the parts for swap or just have the car repaired. I will post the car or parts up for sale on the for sale thread if and when I decide to. The car is, umm.. was in mint condition prior to the accident. I actually enjoy driving this car more than my E46 M3. I miss it already so, might just get it repaired and start driving it daily. No. The exhaust system did not cost me $4500. That was a bit of an exaggeration on my part. The cost was $3146.15 with tax to be exact. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
