Could you open up your sunroof motor and take a pic? My cali top motor has a stripped gear that I'm trying to manufacture myself but it would be easier if it's got a similar gearing system. I'll take the whole motor if you can take a pic and they are identical.

Possibly stupid question, what's the easiest/quickest way to determine whether or not that chip will work in my car? It's a '95 so I know it's OBD1, but not sure about my ecu number or that EWS thing.

Not a stupid question. Just check the build date on the drivers side door jamb. Should be written like "8/94, 1/95, etc."

Does anyone know if the sunroof switch would be able to replace a drivers side window switch?

Will the build date tell me the ecu number?
