I wonder why it says "auch kompakt" "also compact"?? Have you run the PN on realoem?

Realoem says

Part 62108379819 (AT-Instrument cluster, uncoded) was found on the following vehicles:
E36: Details on E36
E36 318i Convertible
E36 318i Sedan
E36 318is Coupe
E36 323i Convertible
E36 323i Coupe
E36 325i Sedan
E36 325i Convertible
E36 325is Coupe
E36 328i Sedan
E36 328i Coupe
E36 328i Convertible

Will this fit (AT) automatics only??

The "also compact" on the instructions is just because the instruction sheet is universal, not the part. Good eye!

I am sure it is for auto or shift.

I'll look into that further.

My parts guy says it is good for auto or stick - it has no bearing on this part.
