Default 1997 BMW 318ti fuel pump relay connector pin removal

Wondering if anyone can help....one of the wires in my 1997 bmw 318ti engine harness shorted and found out it is burnt all the way to the middle of the plastic box in the center of the total harness...I plan to cut wire and solder a new wire all the way to the fuel pump relay socket connector....my problem is that I am having a hard time trying to get burnt wire pin out of the fuel pump relay socket connector.....any one have a picture or can tell me how to remove without purchasing a special tool....or if I have to...what type of pin removal too should I get...if you need pictures please let me know....thanks

There is a lock ring that rotates. Once rotated, pins can be removed.
