can i use the rear e36 m3 swaybar? or do i have to get a aftermarket ti one??

the ti has a completely different rear suspension setup from the rest of the E36 line, it does have the same rear suspension as a Z3 though, so anything for a Z3 or ti will work

TiFreak is correct.

I've got to ask what your suspension set up is though. These cars tend to like a good size front sway bar and stock rear or even a Ti sport stock rear bar.

It all depends on what your goals are and what your set up is.
With that extra info the gurus on here can give you a pretty good idea of what the best set up for you would be.
