Posts: 94 | ASC light "on" issue, Please help I just installed a DASC and all went well,,,, Or so I thought, Car runs and idles as smooth as silk, SO You go and start the car, Pull out and run thru a couple gears then take your foot off the gas and "ASC" light comes on and stats on as long as ignition remains on, Shut car off and the same thing happens, First time you take your foot off the gas light comes on, Yet in the driveway, Revving the engine does nothing, You got to be moving, SO WHat are the components in the engine compartment that could cause this issue? OR WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? ~ ~ ~ PS, Car runs great and so far, Has not thrown a code since first start up when it spit and sputtered for a bit,, I cleared that code and Yay no code yet but I only drive 10 to 15 miles so far. Any information you may have is greatly appreciated ! ! ! Peter | | | 05-24-2013, 05:14 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: NJ Posts: 106 | What diagnostic code? You might try adjusting your ASC throttle control cable. Tighten it up or loosen it up a little. During the install it might have gotten too loose or too tight. If this is the case, you will have a mechanical throttle error code. Just adjust it a little at a time and see if the code goes away. __________________ Mods: DASC, NickG Stage II DME software, 30# injectors, RRFPR removed, DISA Simulator, Secondary Air Pump relocated, bypass cooling hose removed, Fogged airbox, Bosch silver sparkplugs (F6DSR), Magnecore sparkplug wires (KV85), SeattleCircuit mpg adjuster circuit; Textar CeramicFusion brake pads; S/E/M auto trans selector with Euro software TCU; Royal Purple trans (MaxATF) & diff fluids; Koni FSD (F&R); Rogue RSMs; Strong Strut; Butt Strut; Bridgestone Fuzion ZR1 225/50/16 on Style 42's; hardtop; Footwell lighting; Interior lighting On/Off switchable; Euro intermittent wipers; Padded LeatherZ arm rests; Sisa Design Cabrio Wind Deflector; | | | 05-25-2013, 09:45 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Philadelphia Pa.
