Question Where do these go?

I bought a gasket set online and had these bushing looking caps come with the set. I have no idea where they go. If anybody could help id greatly appreciate it.

Most of the time done when doing head gasket, when I send a head to the machine shop I give them those with it and they replace them while machining the head. To do them on the car is nearly impossible. M42 and m44 dont usually have those go bad though.
