Default Blew my water pump today

I turn the corner and I hear rattling.
I look to the left and right to see what car is making all that noise.
No car to the left or right to me.
I pull over in a left turn lane, turn off the car.
Walk to the back to see if my muffler was dragging, or worse.
Nope, antifreeze.
I doubt I drove more than 20 feet when I turned off the motor.

I actually look at this as being good.
The pump had +240000 miles on it.
It blew when the car was relatively cold.
Decided to let loose when I was driving less than 20 mph.
Broke down in a good location.
The weather was nice and I wasn't going anywhere important.
And the best thing, it didn't happen at the track.

Now it's time for a Stewart water pump.
