I bet the power band is far from smooth with the DASC and Dinan software. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! What are on the strut towers? Edit: Looked at another photo. It's missing the strut brace. Other than that, it does look like a nice car. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-19-2008, 02:35 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Fl Posts: 1,353 | Did anyone ever make a heat shield for the DASC intake? You can use the stock air box with the DASC as I recall. Those things on the strut towers are the end plates for one of those not-the-best-design hinged strut braces. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Bid always maxes out around $7-7.5k and doesn't hit the reserve. I'd say it's worth that, but I wonder how more than that he's looking to get. | | | 12-19-2008, 06:38 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: central ct Posts: 503 | is it just me, or is it typical that most turbo/super cars are always "only XXX miles on setup". It's like either its too much problem or something to even enjoy it anymore. Seems odd to dump X grand on a set up and sell it a month later... __________________ 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0t track | 2000 Dakota Former 1995 318ti owner | | | 12-20-2008, 09:11 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by zoner +1 It's been posted at least 3 times.
