I don't need it anymore and it just sits on a shelf in my closet. It's in normal condition, I just replaced it with a CD player. It has the standard radio and cassette player. I'm just doing some pre-spring cleaning. Just make an offer. __________________ '97 318ti M-Sport Package 144,000 miles...Possibly FOR SALE | | | 03-12-2007, 10:00 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | pics? code card? how are the pixels? | | | 03-13-2007, 03:11 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Chesapeake, VA Posts: 26 | I'll have to get my dad to take some pics, it's at his house. It works perfect, the pixels are good. I'll try to find the code for it. I know I had to get the code from a BMW dealer to turn it on after my battery crapped out, I just have to find it. I just took it out a few months after I got the car because it didn't have a CD player. __________________ '97 318ti M-Sport Package 144,000 miles...Possibly FOR SALE | | | 03-13-2007, 05:39 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Bountiful, UTAH! All it took the dealer I went to was for me to hand them a slip of paper with my radio's s/n and them to punch it into a website. | | | 03-13-2007, 02:51 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Maybe it was my CD43 that was the issue. After some confusion and actually bringing the unit to him, he tracked down 3 codes- luckily the last one worked b/c I think it gives you 3 tries then a long timeout period. Anyways he was nice about it so I bought a tailpipe cover. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 03-13-2007, 04:21 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali Maybe it was my CD43 that was the issue. However, if you had your radio partially out to look for the s/n, you might as well just pull out the harness and reset the entire thing! For my radio, it took a while to find the code, I think there were more characters in my s/n than he was supposed to enter on the machine, so it took a few minutes to figure out how much to leave off. | | | 03-14-2007, 07:46 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Bountiful, UTAH!
