thank you all so much for your help. you were correct. This car used to have a turbo on it and i spoke to a friend with a mutsui-gsT and he said aftermarket turbos that are seperate from the cars cpu would have many added on sensors. After looking at my car he concluded that it was a switch to close the wastegate at full throttle.
But that mechanic was still a moron. LOOK AT THESE pics.
This mechainc, im not pointing fingers (Adams Independent BMW Service in Riverside), rebuilt my head and did not change the front main-seal or the SPARK PLUGS. Now he has since sold the shop (1 month) and im stuck with no warranty because the new owners dont even speak english. GODDAMN mexifornia. The boder policy does need to be fixed. Or at least a requirement to live in this nation should be to SPEAK ENGLISH!
O.K. I'm done
By the way all of the other threads that i have started in regards to idle-problems/r.p.m. flat spots/ erratic gas-mileage/ check codes...ect.
I AM SORRY. All of these problems were due to rusted spark plugs. Yes, rusted spark plugs!!! I will never, ever, ever, have a mechanic work on my car again. Regardless of time, effort, or money situation. I have the knowledge just not the experience...yet.
I[SIZE="3"]Vow That
From This Day ForthI Will Never Let A Mechanic Touch my car again!
