Finally gave up and started to look around for an engine instead. Had some luck finding some, but for the price and risk, it started to not work out for me. Have everything except for cylinder head (although could pull out parts from the head). Anyone looking for something? Post and I'll see if there's enough interest to part it out. | | | 11-05-2010, 10:05 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | please please say it has dove grey interior and you have a, not broken, passanger door panel. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 11-05-2010, 10:33 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Rochester, NY Posts: 57 | Parts Seeking the following: - Working Key Fob - Black leather seats - Rubber panels windshield wipers protrude through - Winter Mats - Working door lock/unlock toggle button - M-tech molding Thank you. | | | 11-05-2010, 10:43 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Lancaster PA Posts: 274 | I have a M44 cylnder head? | | | 11-05-2010, 10:54 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | that is pretty messed up. u should have stuck it to him harder jess.. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 11-06-2010, 12:25 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: branford, CT Posts: 89 | you can put me in for the M tech moldings and headliner. how do the back seats look? | | | 11-06-2010, 12:42 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: CA Posts: 138 | Sorry all. Was in such a hurry I should have given more detailed info. Exterior - Damage to passenger side door and just a bit more towards the front. Passenger door mirror gone. Interior - All black. When first bought (CPO) was told it was leatherette. Interior gray cloth on ceiling is starting to separate, sag. Rear hatch top is gone. Retractable hard roof. Passenger door panel missing. Seats are in fairly good shape. No floor mats. Under the hood - Cylinder head is slightly warped and hairline crack. Can part out. Looks like pistons need new rings. Did gasoline test and 3 of 4 pistons had leak. Everything else has been taken apart and cleaned. Any questions about a specific part, feel free to ask. Best would be a part number to look up in realoem.com so we are on the same page. Thanks. I'll get the VIN and look up more info. I'll give this thread a few more days and if there is more interest I'll post pics and give the go ahead on parting out. Thanks all for the interest so far. | | | 11-06-2010, 07:27 AM | #11 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | If it has a grey headliner, it's not a sport | | | 11-06-2010, 01:44 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Dude, get the cylinder head from chudzikb and fix it, better than trashing a perfectly good ti. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 11-06-2010, 03:05 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: South Central, MN Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 If it has a grey headliner, it's not a sport | Or a California package (retractable roof...not sunroof or moonroof) If you hang around this site long enough you should be able to source one here for better than you would elsewhere. __________________ Last edited by Mr.Squeelerz; 11-06-2010 at 03:09 PM. | | | 11-06-2010, 03:52 PM | #14 | Z3 Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Usa Posts: 660 | It's an active.
