Default 50% Dinan Software!

I was looking on the Dinan website and saw on the main page about having a 50% off sale on all of their software up to August. So basically the engine chips and even the auto tranny chips are $100. Anyone who doesn't have one for their car should take advantage of this deal and save $100.

ive looked into dinan software for ... well forever im just lazy and havent gotten it yet.

3dge...its not really a do it yourself job. its easy enough to install, but the problem lies in the bmw's EWS security system. in order for your car to turn on, the new chip must be aligned with the security code, which generally must be done at a authorized dinan dealer.

at the dealership around here, it was 200 for the chip and 100 to install/align....so now its be a 200 dollar job with the sale.

im actually planning on getting it now that its 50% off....that is an insane sale!

Anyone have the Dinan tranny chip? I'm thinking of getting it for only $100.

Since its half off, and the M44 chip is $300, I guess it would be $150 for you.

im not exactly sure what gains the auto transmission chip has...from what i understand ... it just changes shift points so it revs higher and faster... but im not sure what that translates into for gains

I guess I will get the chip in a few months, unless something else comes up on my car...I think my fuelpump is going to die soon...

I was going to the dealer today to buy the Dinan chip when my door panel fell off and the window regulator finally broke. Just found out that a previous owner had taped the door panel on and it finally gave way. Had to go to the mechanic. Unfortunately, I have to wait now.

Why do you think the pump is dying? If its giving symptoms it can really screw up your engine if you keep driving it. Youll go lean at WOT and burn a piston or valves. Besides it will eventually fail and leave your A** hanging in the wind....

Probably not. See www.techniquetuning.com for software that will work with the Downing Atlanta system. You'd have to check with them to see if it will work with your setup.
