It is test and tune but we are bringing about 13 people. I'm suppose to race the 2007 Vette (473hp) and whatever else wants to run me. We have 3 confirmed video cameras, 1 in my car, one from behind while I leave and 1 at half track to catch the race and board. Multiple runs will be recorded. I'm mostly runing 15-16psi which is super nasty and on the last run I'm doing the meth run (which I did today) at 20+ psi. It ran so good on that 20+ run with Meth I thought it was going to blow so I'm saving that for the last run. It should show what the M44 is capable of and show what Metric motors can handle. I think you all will be very surprised what you will see. Turbo is totally different then supercharged which will be very obvious in the videos, there is no 40% loose from spinning that SC. I'm running street tires and will only run 15 psi on the Vette as a promiss to the owner first run then if he beats me anyting goes. As I said I have at least 13 people coming and multiple cameras shooting video so this will be a big party in the stands with cool people and some real good racing to watch with some other locals getting involved. The pros will be out there too testing. Ricky number 2 in fastest street car inthe usa will be there to test his new 2010 fastest street car. Rotary motor pulling the tires off the ground in all 4 gears and even motor cycle grudge matches. $15 addmission $20 if your racing...Maybe $25 for racing it's been a while. Good food and Bud tall boys for $2....No drinking and driving please...Learn from someone that knows | | | 10-07-2009, 01:36 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | sick sick sick cant wait __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 10-07-2009, 01:42 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Can't wait John, get those vids up ASAP. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 10-07-2009, 01:50 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | awesome, squash that Vette | | | 10-07-2009, 01:50 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: san jose Posts: 425 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx Ok I have a big track meet going on at Sunshine Speedway tomorrow (Wednesday) starting at 6:15pm. Cameras are all charged and in hand. Going to start preping car at 3pm. Vette guy is playing chicken $hit saying he has a trip planned for this weekend and is not sure if he can make it. I'm like what does a trip this weekend have to do with the track tonight I bet he didn't get the nitrous kit finished last night. He is a sneaky old guy and long time drag racer so I know he is going to pull something on me if he shows up I don't care if he doesn't show there are plently of other cars to race there and I will never let him forget about it. Very high erratic idle, no power. Get her home and check for vacuum leaks and can't find any. look over everything and can't find nothing so I try a code read and it says no data link. What the hell So I disconnect the battery which I hate to do since it takes forever to adapt with the code I'm running. Go out and drive it and still the same thing. Get back open the hood and immediately see the TPS plug off. Plug it in and all is good. Now this sucks cause in the past with fresh adaption values on the DME the car will have an eractic idle when I'm staging which throws off my reaction time since I have to worry about stall for the final stage. Hope it doesn't give me any crap staging cause I've waited a long time to run this turbo. Idle issues should be the only problem and currently there not happening even though the adaption value error is logged in the DME already. Power is there so if I can get off the line clean it should put down some good numbers | | | 10-07-2009, 09:11 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Wisconsin Posts: 1,895 | Good luck! __________________ ... ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ | | | 10-07-2009, 10:01 PM | #13 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Maybe the vette guy came by when you weren't home and unplugged the TPS | | | 10-07-2009, 10:04 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | now i sit for the vids... drum roll please.... kick som a$$ ... can't wait... __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
