Default Fuel Trim

Hi folks. Did a search but could not find a specific answer. My CEL came on and the codes say:

Fuel Trim, Multiplicative

Fuel Trim , QL additive

I also got a "Catalyst Efficiency" code. I cleared these and drove for a couple of months (about 1500 miles) with no impact (after checking with those more knowledgeable than me that suggested I clear them and call back when they come back on!). Back today.

But only the Fuel Trim codes (same ones)

Appreciate some guidance on this. Hope it's not the cat of course. O2 Sensor? Need a tune-up since I've been a bit remiss on that front?

hi thanks, i need to check for real but according to peak tool it is 1a and 1b. (Fuel Trim, Multiplicative and Fuel Trim , QL additive) the cat code (28) never came back on.

I am giving the car a full tune up this week and hope that it is just adjustment and not a vacuum seal. Have cleared the codes again and will see how long they take to resurface. I did see that other thread thanks and wonder if is the MAF.
