Default more boost?

I thinking of rebuilding my engine, insted of the swap...

but it seems not many of you rebuilt.

What connecting rod have you guys used?
Pistons?
overbore?
cams?

How many Lbs of boost with them???

How many of you guys blew your engine? what went on it first?

Thanks
Chino

You could try emailing Raima (used to post here). He rebuilt the motor on his ti and was making some pretty impressive numbers.

As for pistons, rods, etc you're probably going to have to send in one. I doubt many companies have the specs for the M44/2 on hand.

as i heard, you can rebuild the engine to 1.9 to 2.1 or so right? After throwing in the 2.1, can you still throw in the DASC or stage 3 masc?

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I blew my engine: The thermostat was messed up and then the water pump went.
