Did you guys know if you put your key in the drivers side lock and turn it and hold that it rolls up all your windows even your sunroof. Just thought i'd share that with you guys who didn't know about it. I read this in my manual when i first got my car,the lock even heats up in the winter time to unfreeze, which i think is cool. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 10-05-2004, 03:37 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Athens, Ohio Posts: 121 | Cool! The other thing most BMW owners dont know is you can push in on the turn signal stalk to change the OBC. | | | 10-09-2004, 04:54 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Southern California Posts: 225 | kinda a dump question, but what's the OBC? __________________ Love my ti | | | 10-09-2004, 05:09 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | On Board Computer __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-20-2004, 07:50 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | i know for a fact this used to work on my car, but it stopped working around 36k (or, 84k miles ago) probably around the time my brother slid the thing into a guardrail. i probably just need to reattach something, or jiggle a wire somewhere, but does anybody know of a place to start? i don't want to remove the glovebox again because the rattles drive me insane, and take forever to get rid of. | | | 10-25-2004, 11:30 PM | #13 | Member Join Date: May 2004 Location: New York Posts: 32 | OBC= On Board Computer, and I did know that. If I remeber correctly, the different options are time, temperature, MPG, and how many miles are left until you're out of gas. __________________ Crystal: Blue 1999 318ti w/California Sunroof and M-tech body kit | | | 10-25-2004, 11:58 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | also, the OBC tells you your average speed as well and for the window thing...i had NO IDEA AT ALL i have to try this now! __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 10-26-2004, 02:48 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Seattle Posts: 140 | ahaha!
