I think two of them need to be slightly realigned. There is no rubber on the rims either. Would that be a possible trade? I can get them straightened, which is probably what you want | | | 09-25-2007, 03:42 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: chicago Posts: 172 | sounds good to me. are the rims out-of-round? how bad are they? | | | 09-25-2007, 03:43 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Detroit, MI Posts: 585 | There not bad at all. They were on the car out of line when I bought it. Baron BMW told me they could get them back to perfect round, but for some reason I ended up buying another set of style 18's I also just emailed you pics of the seats. I forgot to add the door panels to. | | | 09-25-2007, 03:54 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: chicago Posts: 172 | they're just for winter tires and lower-speed driving, so it's not a problem at all. if you can get them straightened, that's great, but don't sweat it. i'll split the bill for straightening if you can get it done before we trade. maybe we should be pming this, but oh well. btw, i'm going to an upholstery place friday to see what they suggest for restoring the front seats' color. | | | 09-25-2007, 04:08 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Please share with us what the upholstery shop says to do about restoring the red color- for some reason I think the red shifts/stains/wears the most of any color. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 09-25-2007, 04:25 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: chicago Posts: 172 | i'll let you know what they say. they're supposed to be pretty damn good at what they do... | | | 09-25-2007, 04:28 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Detroit, MI Posts: 585 | Ill stop by baron bmw either tomorrow or wednesday and make an appointment to get the wheels re rounded. | | | 09-25-2007, 06:09 AM | #12 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by col.hapablap i'll let you know what they say. | Subscribed... and eagerly awaiting your report. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
