Question Help! Water on drivers side carpet

I've got water running down carpet about 2 inches aft of fwd corner of door. It looks ljke it is coming from fwd end of plastic door sill. door gasket is wet right in that one spot but nowhere else. Hosed it down for 30 min. and no leak but it leaks when it rains. Any ideas would be a big help.

Thanks, Robert

sounds like the sunroof drain, that would explain why it leaks during the rain but not when you hit it with the hose

I thought the sunroof drained to the rear.

Based on my last water investigation....

If the hose didn't show anything, could it be coming up from the wheel well?

I am not really sure which area is getting wet...

I think there's a drain that goes down the a-pillar

Thanks for the tips, but the car has no sunroof and it leaks when parked. It leaks at the fwd end of the plastic trim at the bottom of the door opening that covers the top edge of the carpet. I'm open to any more ideas.

Thanks,
Robert
