So here is a thread on what has been done to the car at this point and what is in process. The day I brought it home, 8/12/2013, 92k on the clock, 1 owner car, well kept, but never taken care of. suspension shot, dried out gaskets here and there, and red( not my favorite color by far) Last edited by Pinion; 01-07-2014 at 02:38 AM. | | | 01-07-2014, 01:40 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Sag Harbor, NY Posts: 192 | 2nd coming of the car, 1st suspension go through, H&R race springs, Bilstiens, and cleaned up a bit Last edited by Pinion; 01-07-2014 at 02:39 AM. | | | 01-07-2014, 01:48 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Sag Harbor, NY Posts: 192 | At this point, car was getting some attention, was thinking of selling it. Who wants "another" hard to find parts for it car. Took it for a joy ride from Sag Harbor NY, to Portland ME. Sealed the deal, this thing is a pip. Too low. So was thinking I would just take out the H&R race springs I just put in, and put in the sport, raise it up a bit. Yeah, right. It was littered with gritty shavings and what not. all plates were good, so re assembled and assembled rear, yat Rear is finaly in today, again.... yay And for what I was told by Stromung, is the last US exhaust for the TI yes, I wet myself too when I first saw it. Brake lines, Brakes, exhaust, all connections, driveshaft, heat shields, ect. will bleed brakes tomorrow, install door panels, drop her, and shake down. | | | 01-23-2014, 08:08 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Denver, CO Posts: 90 | Everything's so shiny! | | | 01-23-2014, 08:18 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Sag Harbor, NY Posts: 192 | Note yolks, pelican has the wrong seals for the drive seals. Mine leaked right after the first run. They are not the right opening diameter and do not seal | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
