It is missing the oil pan but otherwise very complete. The owner did not know much about it as he purchased it with the transmission and he only needed the oil pan and transmission. He claimed the guy he bought it from said it was running. For the price it was worth the gamble. Since it is a mystery it will need a full rebuild assuming it is not a total mess when I tear it down. No bearing chunks in the oil filter housing... good sign. No sludge. Cams look good as does the upper chain tensioner. The engine spins freely. I also pulled each of the plugs, they all looked dry and normal. Automatic flywheel removed and for sale! __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! I shattered the water pump pulley to make it work. Goodbye plastic impeller. I removed all the accessories, threw away the junk and anything questionable. Now ready for the stand. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Going to get back to Project Club Sport the rest of the week but I should have the head off next week. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Maybe do a little match porting and balancing but I will know better once I open it up. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Before I did that I loosened the crank pulley bolt. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! Timing covers removed. Timing chain, gears, lower inner timing cover, rails and tensioner removed. Cylinder head removed. Very pleased to see clean, damage free cylinders. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE!
