They are 16x8, et 23. They are style 5's from an e38. Thinking either 205/45 16 or 205/50 16, but probably the 205/45. | | | 04-02-2011, 02:25 AM | #1056 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by kuleinc got some tires done, still need to fix one more wheel, then she'll have LTW's on all four corners! | It will certainly handle better on those LTW's compared to those 19's... I think the 205 45's would be much better. but everyones open to their own opinion. I think your going to be more than happy no matter what you do because your new wheels are wicked. have fun man. | | | 04-02-2011, 04:00 AM | #1058 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | on a 16" I wouldn't run a 45 series, it would just be too small for the car, go with the 50 series | | | 04-02-2011, 05:40 AM | #1059 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | I run 225/50r16s on my stock sport ti rims they don't have much more sidewalk than the 225/45r17s on my ltw rims... __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) | | | 04-03-2011, 07:15 PM | #1060 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by dahamler I admired my wife's car and a few others. | Pret-teh!!! I also refilled with Red Line MTL and put Red Line 75w90 in the diff. I hate the smell of that stuff. It's bad when it's new, but when it's used it smells like Satan's ass crack. | | | 04-03-2011, 09:54 PM | #1063 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: aNYthing Posts: 160 | washed for the first time since maybe october.. finally but another muffler on after running straight pipes... it is so quiet.. i love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB-TKh-HJA0&hd=1 __________________ for sale ~ '95 helrot.. For a all season tire they work great. I wouldn't go canyon carving or autocross on them but for everyday rain or shine driving they get the job done. | | | 04-04-2011, 12:29 AM | #1065 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | Got all four LTW rims mounted on red 318ti, its currently getting an alignment (hopefully nothing in the rear is bent, or in the front that I didn't replace). WolferJ I'll be at that target again this Wednesday, prolly bring the red car if the alignment goes well, so you can check it out if you have time. I should come over some time so you can tech me how to love my leather, not a big fan of that years of 5 series, but you're doin a nice job with yours so far! Should be a great cruiser / long trip car! My red car needs some wireing to get its heated seats working, and my cruise control isn't working yet, AND the A/C button doesn't seem to fire the compressor... but the A/C works if I jump the clutch with 12 volts. so still some to do, but its drivable, if a bit scary / bottomy outty.... I also threw the roof rack on the red car for safe keeping __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) Last edited by kuleinc; 04-04-2011 at 12:31 AM.
