Default WTB: M44 motor for a 01/1996 E36 318iC

Looking for an M44 motor for my 96 318iC (01/1996 E36 318i Convertible M44 USA Left hand drive Automatic) , preferably from some one in Los Angeles area for local pickup

If that car were six months older, I have a solid M42 motor ready to go for you. Alas, you cannot legally install an OBD-I motor in an OBD-II car in CA.
