Figure you'd probably want to get it rebuilt by DA and need to purchase the rest of the kit as well as software, you're looking at atleast $2500, probably closer to 3k. | | | 03-03-2011, 02:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | That is a old DASC for sure, 9K miles on it I highly doubt and if it has that low of miles it is weathered so bad it was not on a shelf collecting dust. Lots of parts missing too as Jess said looks like it was cut out of a car (dude remove the cut cables and crap, plus clean it up if your going to claim it's low miles and all . Ok: $1,500 for DASC. $750 for Magnuson to rebuild. DA parts kit to match SC to your car ??? Unknown but most likely a lot or money (All brackets, idlers, supports, fuel line, regulator mount, etc, RRFPR regulator or software plus who knows what else). If SC has been run with a bad bearing and the rotor tapped the SC case then the SC is junk and you got good DASC intake manifold for $1,500 With the above pricing you would be into this a little more then it is most likely worth. I sold my DASC complete kit with 3 pullies for $2,200. Supercharger was in excellent condition so no rebuild needed for at least another 50K-75K miles. My DASC had the snout mod so it could accept pullies as small at 2.8" too...I would not pay more then $3,000 for a DASC and that would be a kit that was new and never installed. Just my opinion and thoughts on these. Turbos can be purchased for $1,100-$2,200 and give you 20%-40% more power per psi since your motor is not wasting power to turn the SC. They are a little harder to install but much more fun, my opinion. Just a thought... Don't mean to crap on someones dream of a good deal or the DASC but my opinion is it really isn't a good deal after you pay to get all the parts to put it together. Also the mileage listed is shady so that would make me think the person is dis-honest and not someone I would want to do a deal with... I send him an email and he told me that he traded all other parts(yeah whatever) and this is all he has. For a sec I was thinking that I will start swimming with the FI sharks for less, but may be next time | | | 03-05-2011, 06:03 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: NJ Posts: 110 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx Turbos can be purchased for $1,100-$2,200 and give you 20%-40% more power per psi since your motor is not wasting power to turn the SC.
