Default CAI prob

so i put in my cold air intake system, but i was wondering about a part that seems out of place. just behind where the airbox used to be and just right of the engine(if you're looking @ it) there in a canister, with a hose that attaches into the hood of the airbox, (aprx 1"in dia hose) Now, with the CAI system, there is no place to hook this hose up to. What should i do with this hose, afterall, it was post-filter, and i am unsure of what the canister does

There is a little K&N filter you can buy to put in this hose. Looks like a mini airintake, check out there website i have seen it posted before but don't recall the part #.

Go to a car parts store and pick up a small 2" filter (like a mini K&N). They are really cheap. Just stick it in the hose and clamp it down. You need to put a filter on that hose, otherwise you will damage your secondary air pump.
