Default New wheels question

Hi everyone,

I was looking into buying some new wheels but im not too knowledgeable on the subject. I saw a set for sale on bf.c:

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1283133

and from what i have read i think they will fit my ti. Can anyone verify this for me please?

Thanks for the help,
Steve

Stock offset on the ti is about ET46. Since those are ET35 they will stick out about 11mm further from the hub than the stock wheels. That shouldn't really be a problem since 18x8 isn't too agressive in the width, I think you'll be ok. Have you lowered your car at all?

Just FYI, people regularly get ET20 wheels to work on the E36 so ET35 isn't bad at all.

The 15mm offset in the back with 9.5" wide wheels would make it hard to fit those.

You would have to really stretch the tires, roll your fenders, and cut away a little bit of the rear bumper to get them to fit.

When you are looking for a set of wheels look for all of the wheels to be in the ET35 - ET47 range.

Would this be a hard job to stretch the tires and roll the fenders or would i be better off just avoiding wheels with that offset all together?
