I saw a set for sale on bf.c: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1283133 and from what i have read i think they will fit my ti. Can anyone verify this for me please? Thanks for the help, Steve | | | 08-04-2009, 04:12 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Stock offset on the ti is about ET46. Since those are ET35 they will stick out about 11mm further from the hub than the stock wheels. That shouldn't really be a problem since 18x8 isn't too agressive in the width, I think you'll be ok. Have you lowered your car at all? Just FYI, people regularly get ET20 wheels to work on the E36 so ET35 isn't bad at all. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 08-05-2009, 01:39 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | Nope i havent lowered it. You would have to really stretch the tires, roll your fenders, and cut away a little bit of the rear bumper to get them to fit. When you are looking for a set of wheels look for all of the wheels to be in the ET35 - ET47 range. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 08-18-2009, 06:19 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | Would this be a hard job to stretch the tires and roll the fenders or would i be better off just avoiding wheels with that offset all together? | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
