Default WTB - Rear Springs (stiffer than H&R Race's)

For some reason I just feel that the H&R race springs are too soft in the rear, when comparing it to the front. I installed the Eibach sway bars and it's still to body rollie for my liking. I've done some looking, and I saw that Ground Control sells an adjustable rear spring, however they say it's not good to use with Bilstien struts. Doesn't make sense to me, but if anybody has any help, that would be great.

H&R will sell non specific application springs, Just take your part number and look it up in their catalog. Usually its a number like: 800/8/2.5
800 lbs
8 Inches long
2.5 in coil diameter.

Order a a stiffer one, by raising the poundage number. They take a couple weeks to get and it must be a number they carry but they sell them in like 25 to 50 lb increments. Ground control same deal.

BTW you know the Factory M3 race cars with the same rear suspension type as ours, Used NO rear bars, just way stiffer springs. A lever arm rear suspension NEEDS roll to plant the wheel. No body roll does not always equal good handling, especially with IRS.

Good Luck
Dave

I would go with these Eibach springs from ground control.
http://www.ground-control-store.com/...p/II=127/CA=11 You can pick the spring rates and they will help you pick the right rates if you call them.

If you want to go all out I would get this. http://www.ground-control-store.com/...p/II=687/CA=11 If you do that you should probably also get a front sway bar that is made for an M3 so that you could hook it to the actual strut instead of the control arms.
