Thumbs down 318ti Community: Dguzzardo22 is a scammer...

I recently purchased this sellers Hurricane Vaders. In the advertisement he claims the only defect is a small cigarette burn hole. However, after no communication for a week (After I had sent him a large sum of money), the seats finally arrived. To my surprise the seats were in fact much more damaged than as listed. There were stains in the alcantara, stains on the fabric, and crackings, cut marks, scuffing and scratching to the seat backs. At first he offered to send me suede cleaner and buy new seat backings, but of course, he is refusing to respond to me and is trying to scam his way out of this.

He wont refund me, return my emails, return my paypal dispute messages, return ebay messages, in fact he has canceled his ebay account, and wont return my BFC pms.

Link to sellers BFC add: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1159571

I recommend that you do not buy from him.

Photos of said damaged seats:

Many more photos...

Oh yeah and lets not forget how he bought these for $250 dollars and then flipped them to me and in the end I paid over $900 to have these shipped to me!

Sorry to hear you bought these. I called him out a couple times....

As a rule, i NEVER buy from anyone selling something because 'they need the money'. Those are the people who will likely scam you. Not the people who 'don't want/need' it any more.

Dustin I know you post on here frequently, would you like to explain yourself? Or are you not man enough?

I simply asked for you to send me stain cleaner and new seat backings or a partial refund to fix the problems.

I'm sorry to see those photos again, I hope you get some kind of resolution. Please, at the very least, leave feedback on his iTrader here and on bf.c, it might prevent someone else from buying from him.

well honestly 250 isnt bad for a pair of crappy vaders, i still think your deal was good please post pictures of the fabric, seat backs are not bad for seat damage(much better than rips) and its possible it could have happened in shipping, did you get insurance?

yeah but i dont consider shipping part of the cost of the seats if he was local they would have been 250 dollars so the seats were sold for 250, he chose to ship

I'm sorry to hear about that, I've only dealt with him once, no problems, but that was just for a pair of corner lights, good luck getting your money back

I don't think paypal works that way with disputes. If the items were actually sent, and just not in the right condition, I don't think paypal will cover it. I've heard other people mention that paypal only cares if something is shipped.

Nope, seats were like $600+, the shipping brought it up to $900. Guzzy paid $250 for the seats.

I'm all for making a profit, but this whole situation, prior to this thread, I was not a fan of. Coming on a site and asking whether or not they're worth it, then trying to resell for a 300% profit on said site to the guys who just helped you doesn't sit right to me. Hopefully the situation is solved.
