Does anyone have a stereo on the cheap that they could sell me? I had an aftermarket stereo in my 95 318ti that shorted out my battery (figured that out AFTER I replaced alternator and rebuilt the carb!) and so now I just need a stock one or ... shoot... anything really... to hum along to while I drive. I don't need much, just so long as I get the radio or cd Thanks! email me at inushnu at yahoo . com for fast reply! -Stephanie | | | 10-07-2009, 06:18 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Stephanie, not quite sure what you're talking about. A radio cannot short out the battery, an improper connection would just fry the radio. and you car has no carburetor? not sure what you rebuilt __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. The aftermarket stereo was leeching juice from my battery. I don't know much... I just know that it WAS the stereo and I had a bunch of work done and that was what the end result was: the stereo. So yeah, I also need someone to put it in that won't do WHATEVER that other person did who installed the damn thing Little more clear? =p | | | 10-07-2009, 05:37 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | I have a stock radio in my garage, however, I wouldn't be able to install it for ya since I'm near Long Beach. $50 shipped. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
