Not all season, but I have gone through a few sets of Dunlop DZ101's and I like those. Cheap, long wearing and grippy. I have also had Michelins and Toyo Proxes before and these are the cheapest, and best 'all around' of the lot. For a 'summer car' or the 'summer tire set' fr those who drive in snow.

Excellent in snow with the installation of tire chains...

Hi everyone, I just got 17" matte black wheels for my ti and I'm not quite sure which brand tire to go with. I live in Arizona, so we don't get any snow, the lowest temperature I've experience in the last 6 years since I bought my ti was 28degreesF and highest 122degreesF. I found a really good deal at a small tire shop for some Hercules Raptis WR1 (225/45/17) at $409 installed, balanced & pro-rated warranty. I currenlty have the 15" stock rims that came with the car when I purchased it from the 2nd owner. Seeing I'm going to a bigger wheel size, I wanted to see if tire brand would make a difference. What do you guys recommend? Thank you!

I personally like Dunlops and had them on my r32. They are really really sticky and lasted me about 40K miles with lots of launches. Also like TOYO Proxes but these wear out as well, had them a while back on a VW.

It depends on the wheel setup you have as to which tires looks best, if this is your goal. Some have beefier looks than others.

I love my Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 tires, the're soft, grippy, ride smooth and work pretty well in all conditions.

I'm running Toyo Exstensa HP on my ti and my E46, my mom also has them on her E46, they're a great tire for a daily driver, good wet and dry traction and they aren't loud

I'm a big fan of federal 595 super steels. Very cheap for the awesome performance.
