the occupancy sensor is a mat type set up of sensors that sense, via weight, if anyone is in the passenger seat. If someone is in the passenger seat, it knows to deploy the air bag in the event of a crash. Otherwise, if it senses no one is in the seat, it does not deploy the air bag. This sensor must be working in order for the air bag system to be active and work in the event of a crash. Your air bag light will be on if this sensor goes bad and the air bags will not deploy with this light on, the system will stay temporarily deactivated until the problem is fixed. I JUST changed my passenger occupancy sensor maybe less than a week before my crash, I believe that it is still good. Let me check and get back to you with a price

What is a, passenger seat occupancy sensor? My airbag light is on and it's because of this thing that is supposed to stay under the front passenger seat. It got kicked around and the one on mine doesn't appear to be OEM or even fixed good by the previous seller.

I'm not sure if you still have this top or not any more, but I think I'm going to need one. What exactly would be included in the assemblie of the top? Are all of the little slides and clips in the top still intact?

The top has been sold according to this thread, but the motor is still available I think.
