I had to go to Atlanta from Orlando to buy it. I had three different BMW dealers tell me that they wouldn't be able to sell a wagon with a stick because nobody wants them that way. Which is funny because I've had it for 5 months and I've had atleast 3 different people offer to buy it from me once they saw it was a stick. You'd be suprised at how well the manual drives. The automatic takes away from any kind of "sporty" feel that the car could have. The definitely drive better than any comparable mercedes, volvo, or saab wagon. I agree though, the 3 series wagon is way to small. For the original question, it depends on what it is being used for. I have a four door for the daily driver, Ti for the sporty car, and the wagon for getting groceries and family car. | | | 03-30-2007, 07:24 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | e30 M3 and e43 330ci M3 would be hellrot and the ci would be black i like both those cars!! __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-04-2007, 05:55 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mothman It depends on your taste, pound for pound the M5 is better, but for looks and style (my choice) has always been a white M3 with black and white interior, blue in dash lighting, with a complete sport package, and (if avaible) hard top that folds into the trunk. Mothman | i agree to the max!!!!!!!! cept i dont like the hard top idea that much because it makes the car heavier...you gotta get a pop off hard top with out an engine for it! now thats weight loss! my friend actually has a 06 white m3 with the 2 tone red and black interior. Has black CSL rims, CSL wing, and the M3 Hood vents. This car is amazingggggg __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 04-04-2007, 05:13 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | e90 or e46 manual+sport+wagon FTMFW!! __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 04-04-2007, 05:41 PM | #21 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Calgary, Alberta Posts: 89 | 3 for me Unless I could get a e28 M5, very much my ideal BMW. For the daily car, I want the new 328xit wagon. The 5's are bigger than I want. Ideally it would be the 330d wagon. I am a big fan of the Euro diesels. | | | 06-11-2007, 11:27 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Lake Oswego, OR Posts: 136 | M6>sex __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by halobeamin it's the way to go.. The newer 5series I HATE, they are sooo ugly, I would take an M5 if someone gave me one, but I still think they are ugly. The 3series is soso but I would definately take the twin turbo. All in all my top 5 are 1) e46 M3 2) 2000-up M5 (until the body style change in 2004?) 3) upcoming 1 series twin turbo 4) e46 330xi with sport/performance package and xenons (manual) 5) 2001-2003? 530i sport package manual | | | 09-03-2007, 02:28 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | PS non-us offering I would get a e46 325ti with sport package and every option lol | | | 09-03-2007, 02:41 PM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | CHeck out this guys tribute video to his 325ti, also watch some of his others as he goes on highways searching for people to race lol of note check out his video at the track u can see a new 1 series racing and a silver e36ti lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjwKfJUvXa0 this is the hottest ti i ever seen.. can u do this stock? or u need more power? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pWulf5A_58 | | | 09-03-2007, 05:51 PM | #30 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Utah Posts: 27 | Quote: Originally Posted by JoeyBello | I know you can do donuts on a stock engine but he was hitting the rev limiter and when you do that loosing traction its bad for your engine.
