Default "Road Rage" The worst moment in my TI 07/26/06

I am leaving work for lunch and I am at a stop light in the middle lane of three, the right lane turns right, the two left lanes turns left onto a three lane street called University Drive in Plantation, Florida. Beside me in the left lane is a Dark Blue Chevy Corvette with tinted out windows. The light turned green and I began turning left while accelerating at probably 80% power staying in my lane as steady as could be. The Corvette on my left had not even begun to accelerate the last time I looked. The next thing I saw was this blue Corvette come at me out of the corner of my left eye. I was just beginning to straighten out when I had to slam on my brakes as the Corvette who was on my left, now is almost taking off my front end of the “Ti” because he lost control of his/her car coming out of the turn only doing about 40-50 mph. As I laid on the horn I could hear his tires spinning as he hit the gas trying to get out of the way. The tires were spinning so fast they sounded like a power steering pump whining on a ford pickup. The Corvette put a lot of distance between me and him/her and tried to make a right turn at the next light. This was the first time I ever experienced real “road rage”. When I caught up with the Corvette at the light, I was going to run it in the rear quarter panel but just as I got up on him I noticed the car in front of him was one of Plantation’s finest. Well the cop turned right and the Corvette was still there as I put the car in park and unlatched my seat belt. I was screaming and throwing finger gestures at the car the whole time as I am preparing to confront him/her. The Corvette then took off around the corner. I was left in park in the middle of the street in a fit of rage. I was so mad the rest of the day at work that I had to leave a little early. It was not until I got home that I realized what a jerk I was being over something that was just I stupid mistake. I could be in real trouble now for a moment of uncontrollable rage. I hope it doesn’t ever happen again but if it does I hope I recognize it before it goes too far.All that being said, I still would like to have a word with the person in the blue Vette or buy some Bilstein coilovers for it so they can keep it on the road. A Corvette is a terrible thing to waste.

Try this for road rage.......I was on Storrow Dr. here in MA, towards the end of it coming up on the intersection near the museum of science. A cab driver cuts me off as I'm doing like 30mph! I had to slam on my brakes so hard that ABS was goin nuts! He did as if I wasnt even there and had I not slammed my brakes, he wouldve for sure slammed into me. Keep in mind I had just my car out of the body shop that SAME DAY! In a fit of rage, I start to honk my horn, then he flips me off and yells something at me that I couldnt even hear. It all went downhill from there. This happend at about rush hour so traffic was bad.

Anyway, so when traffic went from bad to worse to not even moving, I pull up my ebrake and jump out of my car and start my dash towards his taxi. Everyone in traffic was staring at me.......so I start yelling at the guy thru his window and he flips me the bird and pulls up his window. That only made me even more pissed. I kicked a F*ing crater into his door, then I kicked off his mirror, follwed by me jumping on his hood. I was dying for this guy to get out of the cab so I can kick his ass. He looked to be about 35 or so. He looked scared to **** and peeled off as I jumped of the hood. Everybody in traffic started clapping. Apparently, cab drivers in Boston have no respect for other people on the road.

Now thats ROAD RAGE!

Nice work! Cabs suck everywhere!

You got me beat but depending on the cab driver’s ethnicity or sexual orientation you may have been in hate crime territory.

One time i cut a guy off and pulled the e-brake to force him off the road. Then i got out of my Ford Escort with my mag-light. As the guy started to reverse to go around me back to the road from the horse-trail (or side-walk to u city folk) i slammed his hood with the flashlight, then got one more swing at his taillight. It was a very dramatic moment.

he never should have flicked a cigarette into my freshly waxed car and then smiled about it! I wish he could have seen my smile.

and a car would pull up and 5 white guys inside would start yelling at us saying sock my dick , you fagit , bitch , border hopper ,wet back ,fresh of the boat ect. this isn't the first time and they leave but this one night same car pull up and we can see it was the same people from the other nights and they start yelling the same **** they trying act so hard as they start driving away we ran into out cars 4 car gave chase 5.0 mustang 2 WRX 240sx and me in my green 318ti they are a ford Taurus they have no change in get away from turbocharged cars few second later we catch up to the Taurus and one our guys in 5.0 mustang jumps cuts the ford Taurus off this is on a one way street and and stops the Taurus and we boxed Taurus from all sides and we run out of our cars like SWAT yelling at them to step out of the F*&ken car and to face us we where ready for a good fight The 5 guys in the car did want a good beating so we punched and kick on the car then one of our guys jumps on the hood starts kicking at the window yelling who's the bitch who's the bitch do you know me bitch step out bitch and fight.
the 5 guys didn't come out they where so scared they kept there heads down and no one Dare to look at us so in the face and few minutes later we get tired and start getting I our cars but not before saying KEEP IT UP AND THE NEXT TIME I WILL PULL YOU OUT BITCHHH . we where so anger well I was most anger out off everyone I could not control my self I had my eye set on one of the guys I wanted him to step out of the car so I can kick the liven **** out of him .becouse few nights before i was walking my dog and a jeep pulled up 2 guys and 2 girls one of the guys throw a half eaten sandwich from subway at me hits me on the T-short and they drive away fast laughing and pointing at me I didn’t no how to react and the 2 guys where in the this Taurus I had my eye on the one who throw the sandwich at me and also they coursed at my younger brother this had to stop. after that wild night I waited to see if the cops would knock on my door but never did. and I they haven't tried anything after that.

damn I dont want to make anyone mad here, I got nothing...so far

Well its not roadrage, but it was cool...

I was driving home from work 1am, I am at the stoplight turning left, a sporty honda pullsup next to me; so it just rained, i decided to floor it and turn...The Thinderbird (V6) endedup spinning 180 degrees at the end of the turn facing the honda, i then turned the wheel to get turned back into the lane (360)
I then said Holy ****! looked to my right and he was giving me the finger. It was a perfect 360!!I felt so proud!

I have been on the receiving end of road rage.. it is not fun.

Back in 1999 after I had just gotten my brand new Hyundai Tiburon, I got onto the Garden State Parkway (this is south jersey) for the trip home. I accelerated neatly to fit into traffic, didn't cut anybody off, used my signal, all that good stuff, when the ford bronco behind him suddenly turns on his highbeams (it was night) and starts riding my arse to the point where I could not see his front bumper, Not knowing what was going on, I hit my signal and pull off of the road, thinking he had places to go in a hurry..

He passed me and I hit my signal again and pulled back onto the highway behind him.. immediatly he pulled over and let me pass and got right back behind him with his highbeams on and probably taking paint off of my bumper he was so close..

So, I admit, I was scared, So I pulled off and stopped.. waited for about thirty seconds as he continued to drive off.. and then pulled back onto the road. I guess he was watching, because he pulled over and before I knew it, he was back on my ass again, this time flashing his highbeams at me.. Once more I pulled off and waited..

Several minutes passed and after I had stopped shaking a bit, I got back onto the road.. and there he was, waiting for me on the other side of the hill... This was before I had a cell phone or anything and the next (and my) exit was coming up in ten miles.. I decided that the best way to lose this loser was to use my car the proper way.. and floored my little hyundai. They top out at 125 due to the speed limiter.. but evidently that was too fast for the bronco as he quickly fell behind enough that I could safely take my exit without worrying about him trying to follow me home.

People talk about how bad roadrage is.. I hope you never experience it

yeah one time i had a guy get pissed off at me at a red light. so we started swerving at each other, yelling, giving the finger. so when we stopped again i stopped behind him. he got out of his car but wouldnt leave the car. if he had i was going to run him over. haha but since he didnt i could only swerve at him and make his ass get back in the car. this time though he decided to pull out his gun while he was driving and point it at my head. so at this point i considered my life ahead of me and hit the gas ran through a red light and kept going. he didnt follow me but if he had i was going to find a cop quick. you cant play with guns if you dont have a gun yourself.

Default Time to Relax

WOW! It seems like people just need to relax a little bit. Road Rage is not all that funny on either end of it. Admittedly there is some very bad driving all over the place. But most of it is accidental. Just be aware the what is happening around you (ie hang up the phone) sit back and relax. You have a comfortable seat, good music, what else is there? The anger just isn't worth it.

Anyway my two cents

i was drivin to school and was late (this is in southern california) when some fat gangster guyin a chevy blazer with spinners and a really nice sound sytem. Well anyways he turned up his radio really loud and he was listening to hip-hop or somethign. Well anyways i was listening to Pantera and i had turned up my bass so my side mirrors were movign then he turnes up his radio and then the light turns green adn were off, he cuts me off and then looked at me and i was like WTF and he just smiled I flipped him off and then he cut me off again and then i was like you Mother ##cker and then he was like Fu## you BitC# and then he drove away..... lesson of the day if you got a good sound system in your car dont show it off unless you got a gun or a tire iron or something and lucky me, i made it to school on time
