I've always liked the e30's but since they're getting older and I wanted something newer and more reliable for my wife to drive (who's only request in cars is that they are small) Then since she wouldn't let me drive her car, I had to get another one for me :-) I was in the UK last week and saw several e46 ti's... I really like them and wish I could get one here. I don't care too much for the headlights, but I can overlook that. | | | 06-15-2006, 06:27 PM | #8 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | E46 ti's are butt ugly,if i got one i'd sell it with no hesitation. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-15-2006, 07:07 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Berkeley, CA Posts: 411 | I found this picture, says it was a concept. Some people dont like TIs because to some it looks like someone chopped the back of a BMW off. Its all a matter of taste. __________________ 1995 BMW 318ti | | | 06-16-2006, 02:17 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | Quote: Originally Posted by 3DGE My boss said that, he is 6.7 (tall) likes to drive HUGE SUV's Why does small cars always become a "chic car" bla... | the guy who said that the most is 6.6 but he's into e30's which are the same size as the ti... when I was in the UK a few weeks ago everyone asked me what I drove (we imported a 4x4 f150 for a guy there, they all assumed that we all drove those here) and was shocked to hear that I drove something small... I guess it's not the "american way" | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
