Default Do you have this clutch pedal spring?

Do any of your manual tranny 318s have this main clutch pedal spring? #11.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...54&hg=35&fg=05

I got a 318is pedal set from a junkyard and it was missing this spring, but had the smaller spring, #6. I just assumed it was taken off at the junkyard, but now the new OE replacement spring interferes with the smaller spring.

The realoem.com diagram doesn't list spring #11 for any of the 318 cars and I just assumed it was an error. Maybe the 318 never had this spring? Is the 318 clutch pressure plate springs light enough where this isn't required? Anyone want to take a look at their car for me?

Here's a pic of a 325i that has it: http://www.kcbmwclub.com/gallery/d/1.../006pedals.jpg

Thanks!

I do not have this spring. I do not have cruise control either.

I do however, have a small bump on my head from hitting the steering wheel with my noggin.
