New to BMW 318ti's I have owned a lot of E21's but now I have a Ti.

I am still trying to navigate this site. I know people have put a S54 into the TI I would like some more info. but I can seem to find any here on the swap. The TI I have has a blow head gasket and needs a little love. But for a 500.00 car not bad. If I were to get a e46 m3 that was totaled and move every thing across I think this will work. A lot of work for me to do but hey I have time. Just wanting to know a few things. Like will the guage cluster come across and what years on e46 m3s to stay way from. I saw some had rod problems. thanks for the help.

There are very few E46 ti's in the forum. I don't know of many S54 transplants. When it comes to M motors, most people use a S52.
