Has anyone with the M50 swap had clearance issues with the factory sway bars. I have a 98 Mtech with the M50 swap, while snooping around underneath it tonight I notice that the front swap bar was rubbing on the bottom of the engine. Any thoughts on how to correct the issue or has anyone had the same issue and have a fix for it? Thanks in advance. __________________ 1998 M-tech 325ti; Hellrot: M50 Swap, Cold-Air Intake, Custom Magna-Flow Exhaust, Depo Housings w/55 Watt HID, Yellow Fogs,Tinted Windows (35%), M3 Front Spoiler Lip, Black Grills, X-Brace, 17" Drag DR-19 wrapped with Hankook VR-12s, Bilstein HD with M-Tec Springs | | | 03-24-2011, 08:38 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | nope no problem here. its like 1 inch apart though... __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! I personally just wanted it done "right " although shimming it would have been just fine, like you've done. Good luck!! __________________ =F.N.B.= /!\CAUTION/!\ Low Flying Engines | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
