Sure wish i could have installed them, now all i want is for my car to sell soon. I haven't posted yet I'm trying to replace my heater valve so i can get the heater going. Mav +1 on removing the scoop. | | | 12-27-2008, 05:21 AM | #32 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Sweet thanks. Don't forget iTrader also. I like to have the highest rating on the forum LOL!! Should I remove my hood decals too? Now that the scoop is gone, it kinda feels outta place. Though I'm to afraid to find out what it's gonna reveal underneath it. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Oh and a clutch in my truck.. I got a 3tier craftsman tool chest to hold my ever growing collection of tools. Sweet! My best gift will be driving the car again after being out of town for over a week.. | | | 12-27-2008, 08:05 PM | #36 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by Maverix Haha! I'm running out of things to hassle you about, lol. Your car will look 100 times better once it's dropped. +1 on removing the stripes, just be careful. You might want to invest in a heat gun or something to soften the adhesive. I'd try to start in an inconspicuous area first to see if it's going to let up, it might be baked on or leave a heavy residue. I didn't get much this year. Spent a lot on gifts for the family and friends, but seems like the only gifts I got were pretty cheesy. Oh well, it's for the kids anyway, as long as they're happy, that's all that really matters. My dad got me the coolest gifts, a new computer chair and AN AIR COMPRESSOR!!! I'm way stoked because I really needed both of those gifts. The compressor is nothing special, but it's special to me because my dad got it for me. It works great and it's better than what I had before which was nothing. Already bought a couple air tools for it, a die grinder, a cutoff wheel and some polishing wheels. I'll probably get a pneumatic impact, an air ratchet and a spray gun pretty soon. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! I can easily make my car look like this. Turn the hood black, and have silver stripes starting from the hood, and going all the way to the edge of the trunk. Should I do it? __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Im definitely going to say no to a black hood. I see alot of civics with that.. My personal opinion would be to find a set of wheels to replace the hubcaps before i would worry about too much else.. | | | 12-28-2008, 05:24 AM | #43 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by b-rad My personal opinion would be to find a set of wheels to replace the hubcaps before i would worry about too much else.. | I agree.
