I was wondering if there is going to be a hybrid swap section for the ti's as I am going to swap an LC2 (87 Grand National) in my auto ti. I see that another member has a ti with a lsx swap, I think others mite have done other swaps too? | | | 02-04-2011, 03:40 AM | #2 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I don't see the need for a completely separate section since there isn't very many non-bmw swaps running around. Bluebimma is doing an LS1 swap and there was one other member a long time ago, but I think that guy wrapped his around a pole or something. There's a local guy here that swapped a 5L mustang motor in his ti: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24620 and then of course there's this: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?p=260934 Last edited by cooljess76; 02-04-2011 at 03:43 AM. | | | 02-04-2011, 04:39 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 100 | Ok fair enough, but I can document the sawp with pics if anyone is interested... | | | 02-04-2011, 04:53 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1ofakind71 Ok fair enough, but I can document the sawp with pics if anyone is interested... | I think people are always interested in build threads. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 02-04-2011, 05:10 PM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Absolutely. OK if your eyes wide open about it... If you can pull the whole Cyclone power package off it should rock. My start date for this swap will be in late april, Thanks for the interest!! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
