My 96 does not have cruise control. Has anybody successfully done a retrofit and what did it take?

Well, I did an OEM retrofit, but it's still not working. I also did an OBC retrofit, that works fine

When I went to the dealer to get the C.C. coded, he said he wasn't getting a speed indication signal from the gauge cluster. According to him, the car is now coded to have C.C., and as soon as I get the speed sensor wire working, the C.C. should work. This is on my list to do this summer.

The only thing you need to get from the dealer is the wiring harness, everything else you can get used.

I'd have to look through my receipts. I'm gonna guess around $100.00. If I recall, the harness came from a guy selling new OEM parts on Ebay, and he was from Malaysia.

I'm gonna say $200-250 for the Cruise Control, and the same for the OBC.

I have a cruise control actuator... Just needs a new bowden cable/grommet.

I can even pull my CC relay if somebody points me to which one it is.

Default just wondering

Might the actuator be the same as the one on the 535 that I am about to scrap?

I don't have my retrofit working yet either.. The CC module is still coded for a 4cyl, so I think that's my problem.
