You know when you drive a TI when...

You are the one who winds up taking THAT spot.

And wind up sticking out THAT far.

I used to park in a spot like that in my garage at work. Then one of my coworkers got a couple bad door dings in his car. Now I always go for an end spot where I can park far enough away from the other car that I know I won't get dinged.

I do the same, but unfortunately the "dingers" always seem to gravitate toward me no matter how far away I park. It seems like an inverse relationship, the farther you park the more dings you get. I just do not understand people who have no respect to at least hold their door when they get out.

Unfortunately lots of people aren't taught the value of respect. They throw open their car doors because their only concern is themselves.

Most people that are not car enthusiasts don't even know what an M3 is, to them it is just "another BMW". You could throw a 325i next to an M3 and they couldn't tell the difference. The Ti on the other hand, it isn't like most BMW's and that gets people's attention. I get asked about the Ti all the time especially at gas stations. Lots of compliments; however it is a love/hate relationship. People either hate it or love it.

it's probably even easier when you don't care about scratching the paint

You know you have a ti when:
you get on an onramp, have a Camero kissing your rear bumper, and leave it behind about half way up the onramp.

Wish I had a rear view camera to take pictures of the surprised looks I get.

LOL!

When you turn the wheel and you hear that familiar squeek.

Haha most of these are SO true. Makes me sad that I'll be selling mine soon

You know you own a 318ti when you think of your car every time you see 3:18 on a clock, or on a licence plate, or a cash total at the store.

*when you can hear your intake louder than your exhaust
and
*when you buy 2 little plastic parts knowing they'll fail soon then they fail 10 days later.
