Default FS 1995 318ti Authentic Club Sport Slicktop $6500

1995 CLUBSPORT authentic - You could order 3 options on a clubsport (LSD, Premium Sound, Sunroof). This is one of only 5 that was ordered with just LSD. Club Sports are rare enough - about 200 made, and this being 1 of 5 makes it very unlikely your buddy is going to show up with the same car. Some will argue it's still just a TI. I'm into things like serial numbers and rare options, so this car appealed very heavily to me. I never expected to sell it, but I have a new track car coming and I don't want this to sit outside. Also I'm worried that some dingbat will total it if I take it out for a drive and there goes one more rare one. This car was swapped with an M50 at only 2 years old. The vanos M50 is well regarded as one of the best most durable engines made. This car can sit for weeks and start up fresh and fast with ZERO valve tap or Vanos rattle. It also has a chip and dyno charts showing it making 154hp at the wheels which translates to about 200 flywheel.
I have a pile of receipts including the engine swap, extra keys, and a factory Keyfob for the valet key. This car I would say is 100 percent rust free, but if you look at the pics you will see VERY tiny bubbling on the rear wheel arches. I think most people would fail to notice this. All panels are numbers correct and the car has never been painted. Being 25 years old, the paint has held up well due to being garaged for most of its life, but you will see some clear peeling on the mirrors, the bumpers, and a small spot on the hood and hatch. The front bumper has many stone chips, but I wanted to keep it original. If you decide to paint it, a pint of Hellrot basecoat is included. You will also notice my trailer has the style 18's that are original to the car and they will come with it. Suspension is Bilsteins with H&R springs, but I put the Club Sport springs on the back because it was too low for my taste. The H&R's are included if you want to drop it back down. The front end was converted to 325 brakes. 165k and strong as ever. Now for the not so appealing - I have a receipt from 5k miles ago to replace the A/C belt (previous owner) A/C still not working. I have not checked it for charge, but will try to see what's going on. For some reason, the tach wasn't working today when I pulled it out of storage - I will include another cluster from my 95 M3. This car can rev into the 7's so thats a better cluster anyway. Shifter could use bushings. 3-5 gate is vague. Horn works intermittent. Overall, a fantastic car though and VERY RARE. Straight exhaust from mid section back. I added spark arresters to tone it down. Sounds great with or without (you can remove them) and is not crazy loud either way. Let me know if you have any questions. No trades and priced fair for hopefully a quick but sad sale. I have about 40 pics, but I could only upload 5, so contact me for more.
