Here's a couple I found on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245 RIDICULOUSLY expensive wheel. I could get over half of a new suspension for this much. It's a sexy wheel though. Apparently fits. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245 Not quite so expensive...but it's still about half a suspension. I'm not sure if it fits, but I like it more than the other. What determines if a wheel will fit? Are there any ways to fit an older wheel (e30, etc.) like the one above on my e36? Thanks guyzzz __________________ She's no longer mine, but I gotta keep the pic Current euro: Black MkIII VW Gti VR6 | | | 09-18-2008, 02:56 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | IIRC, there is a member who used to have the second wheel installed, so I'm guessing it fits, problem is, it doesn't have an airbag | | | 09-18-2008, 03:02 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Annapolis/College Park Posts: 337 | Eh, I could live without one. The people I know who've been in accidents where an airbag deployed have had more harm than good done to them by the bags. The ones who got really messed up weren't wearing seatbelts...the ones who were had mostly airbag-sustained injuries. Anyone know the name of that second wheel so I can find out if it fits for sure? __________________ She's no longer mine, but I gotta keep the pic Current euro: Black MkIII VW Gti VR6 | | | 09-18-2008, 03:11 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | it says "M technic II" in the ad, I'm fairly sure that's the actual name EDIT: npavs was the member who had it installed on his ti, he sold it, if you PM him, I'm sure he can answer your questions about it | | | 09-18-2008, 03:27 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Annapolis/College Park Posts: 337 | Oops...guess I'm not too observant. I had that same wheel for my E30 and just loved it. __________________ - David | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
