Default Check Engine Light on, but no code

I have a 97 318ti and the check engine light came on after i had it serviced (for new cam position sensor and O2 sensor). I have the BavAuto code reader, but when i tried to pull the codes nothing showed up. I have reset the light twice and it keeps coming back.

Has anyone experienced this? I figure i will just take it back to the shop, but it is a long drive and i dont want to have to go there if i dont have to. Thanks for your help.

Weird! Try calling the shop before going out and see if they might be able to help.
