Breaking stuff will happen with good traction. First time I ran slicks I pulled the front wheels for over 60' about knee high. The black dots and tunnel vision happen to me on launch and clear up around 150'.

I kinda cheat in street car class using Hoosier dirt track front tires (must be front dirt track) on the rear. They hook hard with about 7-10psi in them (Never heat them up or they will chunk bad). They are as good as slicks on the track and will run in rain fair since they have tread. Tech never catches it either.

Ever run slicks on the street and get caught in rain I did it once and learned my lesson. Anything over 5 mph was like driving on a ice skate rink, I'm so lucky I didn't tag a curb, parked car, etc on the way home as I took all back streets that had brick roads and prayed no cops caught me.

Let me date myself: The good old days when street racing was a $76 ticket and 2 points, now they take your car and it is almost as bad as a DUI. Track only for me...
