He kept saying that he'd ship them and never did. Then the other day he says he's having trouble boxing them up because they're too heavy. I told him not to ship the shocks and struts that were pictured with them and I listed the parts that I was specifically interested in. Basically just the front calipers, carriers hubs, spindles and master cylinder/reservoir. That's over half of the weight shaved off, leaving him the rears to sell for more profit. I told him to go to target and get a rubbermaid container, dump the shiz in there and stick it in a box to ship via UPS or DHL. So today he emails me and says he's not comfortable shipping it and sent me a refund. I check my paypal and the money was there, minus 5 bucks paypal charged me for fees. WTF, I wait over 2 weeks and get burned 5 bucks. I swear to god, I hate the idiots on bf.c! __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 05-21-2008, 03:14 AM | #154 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | No kidding, I get burned by those morons all the time. I have been screwed out of more parts on bf.c than I have on my car. There are a bunch of really unprofessional sellers there. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-21-2008, 03:38 AM | #155 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Oh and yesterday some guys took some shots at my school after hours, shot up a teachers car too. In response to the shooting and to ensure our safety the administration decided to lock up about half of the bathrooms..... __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-21-2008, 03:58 AM | #156 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I just talked to the seller again and we might be working out a deal for just the front stuff since I have no use for the rears anyway. I told him to keep the pads and rotors to save weight and cut down on shipping. If all works well, I'll be getting the front calipers/carriers, hubs/spindles, any/all hardware and the master cylinder/reservoir for a hundred bucks shipped. Hope it works out, but at this point I could care less. I'm going to have to rebuild the calipers and buy new pads and rotors anyway. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 05-21-2008, 04:14 AM | #157 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Man that doesnt even seem like its worth it now... __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-21-2008, 04:42 AM | #158 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | ITS DONE!!! my spoiler is on my ti. got a link on the other thread to see the pics. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! I like the CD43 and the stock look, but call me crazy I actually kind of like having the weatherband feature of the C33. And to add to the mix, I have the JVC stereo from my old car that will play MP3 and WMA files, which I like being able to do. Any chance there's a BMW CD player that plays MP3 files and will fit our cars (and won't break the bank)?
