Are you sure the cells are putting out 12V? The one I just bought is rated at 12V and 5W, the actual output is 18V. Anyways, what are you trying to charge? Because as long as the current is low, the excess voltage usually isn't an issue (e.g., in the case of charging a car battery) __________________ 1/1997 M44 ti M-Sport Schwartz II | | | 05-15-2008, 12:01 AM | #40 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Southern California - Orange county Posts: 978 | well my dilemma is that i have 3- 12v 1.5 watts solar cells and im trying to charge a 24v battery i can use 2 cells and it will charge at 24 volts and only 1.5 watts but then i will have an extra one. i can buy 1 more cell then i can have 2 sets of 2 hooked up in series that will giv me 1.5 watts at 24v then connect them in series then it will give me 24v and 3 watts __________________ 1995 318ti Cosmos Black Bilsteins w/ H&R Sport, Depos w/ angeleyes and HID 5K, 50% short throw kit, Custom fogged intake, AC schnitzer pedels w/ deadpedels, leather stickshift knob, vitesse tuning Ebreak boot w/ shift boot, X-Brace, 325/328 brake upgrade, Gray millpoint leather and cloth interior, custom computer multimedia system, and Style 5 BBS 17" rims, M3 Mirrors, CF Hood | | | 05-15-2008, 12:20 AM | #41 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget but just one thread gets pretty confusing. | +1, I just had to read through 3 pages of this Quote: Originally Posted by teetime4one whatever... i just want to hear what Pauly will say next. and i don't care where it's categorized. | one time I burned myself with a lighter smoking, there was a little patch right below my right nostril where my mustache wouldn't grow for like a week, that good enough for ya?
