Well I replaced the slider clips in my passenger window and cleaned the rails as well. Feeling all proud of myself I went about my day. Later that evening I had been using the window with no problems when I went to run the window up. There was a pop and the window fell forward. I stopped pulled the window up in place since i was out on the road until I got home. Upon pulling the panel off and looking in the door I found the arm that rides in the c-channel track no longer held in place. The round bushing that rides in the track had broken off of the post on the arm. There's no way to just replace that bushing is there? I know probably sounds dumb but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks. | | | 02-09-2008, 01:04 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | you need a new regulator. good luck __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 02-09-2008, 01:53 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | there is a write-up on this site and plenty of threads about the same exact thing | | | 02-11-2008, 08:05 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Grasonville Md Posts: 38 | just did this on the drivers side its kind of a cheesy set up. bought a window reg on ebay 25.00 no problems since how you like taking the door panels off lots of fun | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
